Yes. FRP panels can be installed directly over ceramic tile. Non-porous surfaces require the use of rivets unless the surface of the tile is opened by sanding or use of chemical abrasive. Adhesive should be used on porous surfaces only.

No. FRP does not support mold or mildew per ASTM D3273 and D3274.

FRP, or fiberglass reinforced plastic is commonly used in kitchens and rest rooms due to it being a sanitary wall surface that is water resistant and easy to clean.

FRP is more cost effective as installation is much less time consuming; yet it still provides an aesthetically pleasing result that requires less upkeep and repairs.
